Today, before you open your mouth to shout at someone or threat them, or demand something that is beyond their capacity please remember these verses:
And the King will say, ‘I tell you the truth, when you did it to one of the least of these my brothers and sisters, YOU WERE DOING IT TO ME!’ – Matthew 25:40
“God blesses those who work for peace, for they will be called the children of God.” – Matthew 5:9
“But I say, if you are even angry with someone, you are subject to judgment! If you call someone an idiot, you are in danger of being brought before the court. And if you curse someone, you are in danger of the fires of hell.” – Matthew 5:22
“Do not judge others, and you will not be judged, for you will be treated as you treat others. The standard you use in judging is the standard by which you will be judged.” – Matthew 7:1-2
“Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.”
Please bring to your memory the times when you think that your possessions are more important than people. Remember the times when you become mean to someone just to get what you want. Remember how you threat them and plot a plan just to kick them out of their job if they are just a mere employee.
Even if this is your natural attitude, in the Lord, bad attitude is SIN. We are now a new creation, all things have passed away. We should never feed our old nature, anymore.
“Lord, we sinned against You for treating our fellows harshly. We insist to get what we want up to the extent of cussing, threatening, and shouting. We disregard the other fellow’s emotion and issues in life and we think of our possessions more important than them. Forgive us, Oh Lord and give us understanding. May all your Words about how to treat others settled in our minds so that all evil thoughts and words flew away from us. May what remains is only kindness. This I pray in Jesus name. Amen.”
