“Don’t try to get out of anything prematurely. Let it do its work so you become mature and well developed.” – James 1:4
I love what my Coach told me in her text message,
“…remember though that you were the ones who worked hard during the assessments so job well done to you. You never gave up and made sure that you improved and you did. Congratulations. Your hard work paid off.”
To which I answered,
“Yes, what I have is the determination, but what you gave me is the direction and for that thank you.”
The training that I have been through last week was a very rigorous one. I have never yet attended a training as tiring as that both in physical and mental aspects.
“For surely, O Lord, You bless the righteous, you surround them with your favor as with a shield.” – Psalm 5:12
Rainy days. Flood here and there. Children getting sick. Me, having a cold I’ve caught from a friend.
In times like this, I wish God would give me something to uplift my spirit.
“For He will command His Angel conserning you to guard you in all your ways.” –Psalm 91:11
One of my favorite blogger said that in an unknown territory sometimes we must let ourselves be lost in order to learn.
I don’t have such courage that’s why when I happened to turned left instead of right down to Maya St., I come up into an unfamiliar place. I’m so afraid I can’t go home.

Finding a house for rent here in Manila is not an easy task. When my husband and I were looking for a better house before we transfer here, we had many not so good experiences. We’re being asked if we have a credit card with Php50,000 in it, if we have no kids, if we could really afford the price, if it’s okay if we don’t cook in a gas stove etc…
Some were too expensive and out of our budget for a two months advance and a month deposit. We found one that was big enough complete with cabinets and was also low in price but located near a river with a quarreling neighborhood and a very disgusting smell.
I can never count the times when this verse had helped me, so I doodled it to be part of God’s Promises collection also available on my shop.
Read: 1 John 4:4
“Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.”
Fear is unavoidable. Not because we’re Christian, we totally lost the feelings of fear. The only advantages we have when facing fear is that His perfect “Love casteth out fear.”
Read: Galatians 6:9
“Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” (Galatians 6:9)
Sometimes God gives us many opportunities to do good for others but we always miss them.
Sometimes it’s hard to do good especially if by doing so we are being abused.
Sometimes it’s just okay to do well to those who do us good, but for those who don’t we’d rather wish them bad things. We choose whom to be kind with.
